Murphy

Murphy is a Brisbane pop singer who also writes and produces his own music. On stage he can switch between guitar, piano and drums, which gives a solo booking more range than one voice and one instrument usually would. His grounding is classical: he trained on piano, violin and clarinet and sang and played in bands and choirs well before going solo. These days he splits his time between writing, recording, dancing and performing, and he's as comfortable producing in Pro Tools as he is performing live. A pop soloist with that many instruments on hand suits a party crowd that wants this year's songs rather than old standards, and he plays venues and company functions too.
