Munky Music is a cover band based in Melbourne, VIC.
Bruno Mars, Prince, Michael Jackson and Daft Punk make up the backbone of this Melbourne five-piece's set, with retro 70s and 80s funk and disco filling out the rest. The band calls itself Munky Fusic, and the music is aimed squarely at the dance floor. Uptown Funk is in there, along with plenty of classic Jackson. The part people don't expect is the MC. One comes included with the band, and a funny one at that, so the speeches and formalities are looked after without a separate booking. That makes them an easy call for a wedding reception or a work party where the same night needs a host and a band that'll keep people dancing.
