She's a singer, DJ and event planner with 15 years in those roles, and she has directed the entertainment at more than 1,800 weddings. The line-up builds in steps. The duo pairs her with a guitarist, the trio adds sax and percussion, and the four-piece brings in bass or keys. Five players, with a drum kit, is the minimum for the party band. Go further and it becomes a big band of up to ten, with a brass section and a second, male vocalist. She also directs Byron Bay Experience, which plans and hosts entire wedding weekends. The gear comes with her; the venue supplies power. She's based in Byron Bay, travels nationwide and holds public liability insurance.
