Synth-heavy and built on bass, Mikko's sets shift in mood, genre and tempo, with post-punk threaded through the dance music. The Finnish-Australian DJ comes from Sydney's Inner West and moves between driving, energetic stretches and calmer, restorative ones. He has played Carousel, Club 77, The Bridge in Rozelle, the Abercrombie and Chinese Laundry, along with warehouse parties around the city. He mixes genres easily, so he suits a crowd that likes its dance music with a darker edge and doesn't need to hear the chart hits.
