Mikekon

Mikekon is a DJ, producer and party thrower who also runs the label WIP Music. His ear was shaped early by underground music out of Chicago, Detroit and New York, and he learned the craft in the clubs of Sydney, on Eora country, before gigging interstate and overseas. Fashion is a big part of his work. He has put together the music for runway shows and events for Shona Joy, Christopher Esber, Aje and Comme Moi, and made original tracks for marketing campaigns by Australian fashion and lifestyle brands. That background makes him a sharp pick for a launch, or any brand night where the soundtrack has to suit the clothes.
