Mike Amaro can play open format when the room needs a bit of everything, but give him the chance and he'll lean into disco house, nu disco and straight house. That's the music he loves most, and it's the side of him to ask for if you want a warm, groove-led floor rather than a jukebox. He's spent close to eight years working Sydney's club and bar circuit, with sets at Cargo Bar, the Colombian Hotel, Glass Island, Bungalow 8 and ivy. Those are rooms where people come to dance, and he knows how to keep them there.
