Mik Henderson

Mik Henderson can go big or keep it simple. Guitar over backing tracks gives him a fuller sound, and when the mood calls for it he strips back to acoustic guitar, a looper and his voice. He keeps the volume at a level that won't annoy your guests, which helps at a wedding or a venue where people still want to talk. Bookings run three or four hours, built around a 60-minute set and two 45-minute sets, with break music in between and lighting as needed. He needs one 240-volt outlet and a space about 3 by 2 metres. Mik plays weekly around Townsville and has gigged up and down the east coast. His own public liability policy covers him, and he'll travel 100 km for a booking.
