Miika entertainment

West African drumming and dance is the heart of Miika Entertainment, a Melbourne group that performs live shows and also teaches workshops and classes. There's a second show too, a Brazilian dance and drum floor show with samba rhythms, acrobatics and elaborate costumes in the spirit of Rio's Carnival. Both are built to get the audience joining in rather than just watching. The workshops are pitched for all abilities, from preschoolers through to older adults in residential care, so a kindergarten visit or an aged care afternoon is as much in their range as a party. Event bookings include birthdays, weddings, hens nights and corporate events.
