MICKA SCENE

Slide guitar over desert dance grooves is where a Micka Scene set begins, and from there it takes in Latin rhythms and African percussion. The voice on top is raw and resonant. It's music drawn from all over the world, rooted in tradition but not predictable, and it suits a festival crowd or a laid-back party where people are happy to dance to something unfamiliar. Micka has a partnership with Fuji Music Co. in Japan and has collaborated with the Japanese musician Kaiki. The act is based in Byron Bay.
