Michael Pugz is an open-format DJ and producer, so a set can jump between house, RnB, pop, disco, tech, hip hop, commercial hits and classics. He has supported some big names in Australian dance music, including Timmy Trumpet, Havana Brown, Will Sparks, Tigerlily and Joel Fletcher, as well as international act Joel Corry. On the hip hop and R&B side he's opened for Mario, YG and T.I. Playing open format helps at a twenty-first or staff party, where some guests want house and others want hip hop.
