Boat parties and hens nights were part of Michael's early work as a Sydney mobile DJ, which he started in 2005, alongside birthdays, weddings and corporate functions. That gave him a feel for very different crowds. From 2011 he moved into pubs and clubs, playing Marquee Sydney, IVY, The Art House, Bar100 and a string of bars in Darling Harbour and Kings Cross. He has produced mixtapes since 2012, and they've been played in-store by retailers including Glassons and InSport, which led to corporate events for Foot Locker, Rebel Sport, F45, Glassons and InSport. He brings his own setup: a Pioneer DDJ-SX controller, a MacBook Pro, JBL 15-inch powered speakers on stands, DMX sweeper lights, an LED wash bar and a portable DJ table, and he has his own transport. His qualifications include a Certificate III in Music Business. He carries public liability insurance and mentors newer DJs.
