Mermaid Avenue

Mermaid Avenue are a Brisbane band built around the songwriting of Peter Clarke, and it's their own songs that carry a show. The sound drifts between indie rock, country rock, alt country, indie folk and bluesy Americana. It's music for a relaxed afternoon, a bar or a garden party where people listen as much as they talk. Since forming in 2015 they've released three albums, and several of their songs have made the finals of international songwriting competitions.
