Mercury is a cover band based in North Perth, WA.
Mercury take requests, which tells you a fair bit about how they like a night to run. John, George and Florri all sing in this North Perth four-piece, with Florri also on bass and Arthur on drums, so the vocals get shared around. The set list is built from pub and party staples: Suspicious Minds, Nutbush, Roadhouse Blues, To Her Door, Sweet Home Alabama, Never Tear Us Apart, Blister in the Sun and Don't Change, with Polk Salad Annie and Treat Her Right for anyone after something grittier. At a wedding they'll also play slower songs and instrumentals for the quieter parts of the day. They bring their own PA and some lighting, and they travel up to 50 km.
