About
Mel is a motivational speaker based in Perth, WA.
Mel's sessions are about building workplaces and schools where inclusion is real and not just for show. She's a teacher completing doctoral research into equity and wellbeing, and she wrote a chapter on resilience, advocacy and speaking up in the book Try and Stop Her. Expect honesty, sharp ideas and practical tools, with a bit of humour to keep people with her. The format scales to your day: a 30-minute lunchtime learning session, a 45 to 60-minute keynote, or a half-day or full-day workshop. Topics include diversity and inclusion, resilience, wellbeing, bullying and disability, with talks for both secondary students and their teachers. Mel is based in Perth and travels nationwide.
