Meg Ripps is a singer-songwriter based in Brisbane, QLD.
Meg Ripps can stay seated and serenade the room, or get up and dance with the crowd, whichever the night needs. Her voice blends soul, country and pop, and the songs draw on Creedence Clearwater Revival, Amy Winehouse, Hozier, Bill Withers, Amy Shark, Whitney Houston and Bruno Mars. Solo, she plays guitar and uses live looping and guitar percussion to layer each song. A duo adds a male singer and guitarist, or a guitarist or keys player while Meg takes the mic, and the full band brings in guitar, bass, keys and drums. Past clients include the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Show, the Brisbane Lions, the Australian Army and Brisbane Festival, and she has opened for Daddy Cool, James Blundell and Rick Price. She brings her own PA; just confirm the power at the venue. Brisbane-based and insured, she travels up to 200 km.
