Me 'N Me Mates is a bush band based in Adelaide, SA.
Old shearing songs, a yarn or two between them, then Slim Dusty and maybe some AC/DC. Me 'N Me Mates do Australiana, and a lot of it is played for laughs. Expect Wallaby Stew, The Pub With No Beer, Road to Gundagai, The Pushbike Song, Diamantina Drover, Tenterfield Saddler, I've Been Everywhere and Waltzing Matilda, plus country classics and their own songs. It's G rated, so the kids and the grandparents can sit at the same table. The Adelaide band tours venues, festivals and agricultural shows through SA, Victoria and NSW, with Tamworth's country music festival and the National Folk Festival among the stops, and they're as comfortable at a pub as an arts centre. An Aussie theme night is an obvious booking. They can use the venue's PA or bring one, carry public liability insurance and travel nationwide, though a long trip may need accommodation.
