Hip hop at one end, main room house at the other: McGill covers that whole stretch, and he learned it the hard way, as a resident at Sin City and Bedroom, the Gold Coast's two biggest nightclubs. He has supported Darude, What So Not, Sticky Fingers, Rufus Du Sol, Paces, San Cisco and Ctrl Alt Delete, and he's always hunting down new tracks to blend into the mix. 80s and 90s music is on his list too, which helps at a party with a mixed crowd. He works on CDJs (the 1000, 900 or 2000 models) with a DJM mixer, so it's worth checking the venue's DJ gear before the night. Home is the Gold Coast, and bookings anywhere in Australia are fine by him.
