Maxi builds a set live with an acoustic guitar, his voice and a loop pedal, layering parts until one player fills the room. From there the booking can grow. Add a DJ and the night runs from live music into a dance set without a gap. A duo brings in percussion or drums, keys, sax, or Spanish or electric guitar, and the trio and band stack more of those on top. The song list is sorted by genre, running from jazz, soul, R&B and hip hop through reggae and surf rock, pop, country, folk, indie, blues, rock and Latin pop, with EDM on the DJ side. Hotels, bars, restaurants and council festivals book him, as do weddings, birthdays and company events. Outdoors, he'll want a covered area if rain is possible. Maxi works out of Sydney, goes anywhere in the country and is covered for public liability.
