Max Zero is a cover band based in Melbourne, VIC.
Max Zero want the crowd in on the fun, and a classic rock set built around songs people shout back is how they get there. It's a six-piece from Melbourne. Kate Nielsen and Steve Pisani share lead vocals, Michael Santagati plays lead guitar, and Dave Burlew moves between rhythm and lead while singing backing vocals. Jack Macauley drums, and bassist Trent Conway sings backing too, and handles the narration on Love Shack. The list takes in Bow River, Ballroom Blitz, Eagle Rock, Boys in Town, Brown Sugar, Evie and April Sun in Cuba, plus Jenny (867-5309) and 2-4-6-8 Motorway. They bring their own PA, and sound check time is always appreciated if your venue can fit it in. They travel up to 50 km.
