Matty Sax plays saxophone over his own DJ sets, so the music can shift from smooth jazz and soul during drinks to funk and house once the dance floor opens. A decade-plus of gigs has taught him to watch the crowd as he goes, adjusting the mix to what's working. Each set list is built from your brief. The gear pack covers the sound system, a professional DJ setup, RGB LED bar lighting and wireless microphones, which also handle the speeches and the sax. Extra effects are available on request. His footprint starts at roughly 2 metres square. Weddings are a regular booking, alongside parties, corporate nights and Christmas events. Home base is the Gold Coast, the insurance is in place, and interstate gigs are fine by him.
