Matty Coull

One man, a Boss looping pedal and a harmonica: Matty Coull builds a whole blues rock show solo. The music is blues and psychedelic rock, covers and originals, played on a Cole Clark acoustic and on Gibson, Strat and Tele electrics. The set can stay soft and slow or go loud enough to dance to, and the list gets tailored to you. The influences range from Neil Young, Tom Petty and Rodriguez to Janis Joplin, Hendrix, Guns N' Roses and AC/DC. Matty carries all the gear and turns up at least an hour early to sound check, so power is the only request. Based in Albany, Matty travels up to 500 km.
