Matty Bateson

Matty Bateson goes by Mr Baritone, and the voice is the reason: deep, warm and flexible enough to carry a wide spread of covers. He plays acoustic guitar through a loop pedal, layering parts so the sound builds beyond one player, and drum backing tracks can be added if you'd like more drive. Covers make up most of a night, and now and then he slips in a song he wrote. He brings good-quality sound gear and has been playing live since 1999, so reading a pub, a party or a function is familiar work for him.
