Five or six gigs a week keeps MATTIX busy behind the decks across Melbourne, at clubs and at private and public events. The sets move from big party anthems to deep, driving techno, with each track blended into the next so cleanly that dancers barely notice the change. That range gives a promoter or a party host some choice. Keep it peak-hour and familiar for a birthday or a work party, or go darker and deeper for a late club crowd that came for techno. Either way, the aim is a dance floor that's still full at the end.
