Matt Lawler

For a production or event that needs a trained contemporary dancer, Matt Lawler has experience across stage, commercial and cruise ship work. He's a dance artist based in Boorloo (Perth) and a graduate of WAAPA, after early training at Kerry Gough Gotta Dance School. During his studies he had a solo role in FACT MATTER, a Lee Searle work, and did secondments with Co3 Contemporary Dance Australia and Enneagon Movement. His work spans contemporary dance, youth arts and large-scale commercial shows. He's performed with several Perth entertainment companies and in production shows aboard Royal Caribbean's Enchantment of the Seas. He also works with SLIDE Youth Dance Theatre in Darwin, and WA Government funding took him to New York for a secondment with Trisha Brown Dance Company, working in the studio on Lee Searle's Time Again.
