Matt Currie

Matt Currie plays instrumental classical guitar, acoustic and relaxed, the sort of music that sits gently under a wedding ceremony or a drinks reception. The repertoire starts with traditional classical pieces and jazz standards, then moves into pop songs and classic hits arranged for the instrument. Flamenco, Celtic and Latin pieces add some colour when the mood allows. It's background music in the best sense, there to set a calm tone while guests talk. Home base is the Gold Coast, and Matt Currie will travel anywhere in Australia.
