More than 3,000 gigs as an acoustic soloist sit behind Marty Sima, and that's a lot of practice at reading a function crowd. He sings and plays guitar through a covers set, and he can also switch to DJ duties, which means you can have songs on guitar early and a DJ mix later without hiring twice. Private functions, weddings and corporate events are his main work, and he's at home in a pub as well. Home is the Sunshine Coast, and his patch takes in Kingscliff, the Gold Coast and Brisbane, within a 200 km radius. He's covered by public liability insurance.
