Mark Hillman

Mark Hillman gets a fuller sound than one guitarist normally makes, recording parts live on a loop and playing over the top of them. The music sits somewhere between blues, rock and acoustic groove, and it wanders into other genres as well. He's been at it for more than twenty years, playing venues and festivals around Australia. A looped set like his works well in a bar, a beer garden or an outdoor party where one performer has to carry the whole space. He's based in Townsville.
