About
Mark and Don's Shows is a musical duo based in Melbourne, VIC.
Mark and Don's Going Back Show is part concert, part trip down memory lane. Between songs come old TV moments, vintage ads, trivia and a fair bit of humour, and the audience is expected to sing, dance and join in. The music centres on the 50s through the 80s, drawn from close to 500 songs that reach back to Minnie the Moocher and forward into the 90s, with Roy Orbison, Abba, Neil Diamond, Johnny Cash, Cold Chisel, Leo Sayer, Frankie Valli and Billy Thorpe among them. Choose an audio-only version or add video, for anything from one to three hours, and there's a Christmas Show too. It's pitched squarely at retirement villages, Probus and U3A groups, RSLs and community organisations. The duo is self-contained, needs only power, and will go as far as 100 km out of Melbourne.
