Marcio Mendes

Marcio Mendes brings the sound of Brazil to the Gold Coast. He comes from São Paulo, the country's biggest city, and has played professionally for years, sharing stages with Djavan and with samba bands such as Art Popular, Negritude Jr and Katinguele. Alongside Leandro Lehart, Rachel Claudio and the pianist Tania Maria he has performed for audiences as big as 50,000, in Australia, Europe and back home in Brazil. That background makes him a strong booking for a Brazilian-themed party, a Latin night or any celebration where samba belongs in the room.
