Madness Tribute is a tribute band based in Brisbane, QLD.
One Step Beyond, Baggy Trousers, Night Boat to Cairo, House of Fun. If those titles already have you moving, this Brisbane seven-piece will keep you there. The Madness Tribute recreates both the look and the sound of a Madness concert, working through the catalogue from 1979 onwards, the big sing-alongs plus plenty of the less obvious songs. It's the two-tone mix the band made famous: ska and reggae rhythms with British pop, a touch of Motown and plenty of cheek. The players are experienced and clearly enjoy the job, and the sound stays bouncy from start to finish. Plan for a full dance floor and guests who'll be warm by the end. It suits a party, a pub or club night, or any room with a soft spot for 80s British music.
