Madison start gently. The duo is a female singer with keys or with guitar, playing laid-back music while guests settle in, then finishing on upbeat feel-good songs. Add a saxophone for soulful acoustic versions, or drums if you want people dancing. Weddings can have them for all three stages, from ceremony through canapés to reception, and they'll learn the songs you pick for your aisle walk, signing the register and leaving as a married couple. Receptions and corporate nights run up to four 50-minute sets, with recorded tracks in the breaks so there's never a silent gap. They bring the PA, a sound engineer, stage lighting and extra mics for speeches, with a full sound check first. Styles range across Top 40, pop, funk, R&B, the 80s and 90s, disco, jazz and classic rock. Brisbane-based and insured, they travel up to 50 km.
