Mad Collective Connection (MCC)

Mad Collective Connection mostly play their own reggae. MCC have two albums out, close to two hours of original music, and more than 250 further songs to draw on when a long night needs them. A set of Bob Marley's best-known songs is on offer too. Zodiac plays the skanking guitar that reggae depends on and Abi keeps the bass line steady. Mystic is the high-energy vocalist who lifts the crowd, while Dom brings bass vocals and a smoother front-man style. Stanley rounds out the core five on sound and lighting. Band size is flexible, up or down, depending on the room. MCC's own desk, PA and lights handle an audience of about 250, and on bigger stages they'd rather plug into the house system. Setup usually takes an hour or less. Home is the Gold Coast, and they'll travel 50 km.
