Luminescence is a musical duo based in Corindi Beach, NSW.
Two voices that have sung together for years give Luminescence its sound. It's a mother and son duo, both singing and both switching between instruments, so the backing can move from semi-acoustic guitar and stomp box to two guitars, guitar with bass, or guitar with djembe, and electric drums are a newer option. The songs mix old and new. Lime Cordiale's Robbery, Ocean Alley, Ruel and The Black Keys' Gold on the Ceiling sit alongside Creedence, Fleetwood Mac's Rhiannon, Tina Turner and Here Comes the Sun. A solo booking is possible, and there's a duo-plus-DJ option to carry the night on. They'll need power close by, easy access, a spot out of the rain and firm ground. Home is Corindi Beach in NSW, and they travel up to 500 km.
