Luke Melhop

Luke Melhop sings, plays guitar and loops, and he can size the music to the night: a quiet solo or duo in the background, a party band for the dance floor, or a big band production. For the larger line-ups he brings in musicians from around South East Queensland. The repertoire takes in classic rock, Aussie rock, country, folk, funk, soul and pop, from Bob Seger to Bruno Mars, and he adjusts on the fly as he reads the crowd. His 20-plus years of work run from solo spots right up to big band theatre shows. He owns several PA and lighting set-ups, so power is usually all he needs. All-day wedding packages are available. Brisbane-based and insured, he travels nationwide.
