Lounge Cats is a musical duo based in Brisbane, QLD.
Lounge Cats first came together as a jazz combo while studying at the Brisbane Conservatorium, and those roots still sit underneath a duo that now leans folky. The pair have played together since 2012, at functions on the Sunshine Coast, the Gold Coast and around Brisbane itself. Their own sound is light and upbeat, but they've built up a repertoire that runs from older classics to modern pop, so the music can follow the crowd. A two-piece like this sits comfortably at a cocktail function or a wedding, and they also take birthdays, corporate events and venue bookings.
