Wayne Fleming draws quick caricatures in black and white, head and shoulders, at around six minutes per guest. He keeps the chat light while he works, which settles even people who hate having their picture taken. Guests can be drawn alone, in groups, or as the whole crowd together on one poster-size board, and he adds gags, captions and comic-style speech bubbles to suit whoever's in the chair. Extras include pre-printed page templates with themed borders, logos or superhero bodies, plus mailing tubes, laminating, envelopes and sleeves to take the drawings home in. He needs about 2 square metres, a table and four chairs, good lighting, and cover from sun and rain. In the city or a large complex, allow parking and access for his work van close to where he's drawing. He's based in Brisbane and travels nationwide, which suits staff parties and weddings.
