Lippo

Lippo, who also goes by The Scientist, has been playing to crowds for 25 years, and his record bag runs deep. He mixes deep house and disco with Brazilian music, Afrobeats and deep funk, so a set grooves more than it pounds. That's useful at a sunset party, a long lunch that turns into dancing, or a wedding reception with a soulful streak. Overseas venues are on his record, and he's opened for touring international acts. He's based in Byron Bay.
