Your guests get a portrait without having to sit still for it. Lillian, a Sydney live illustrator, snaps a quick photo and then draws from it while the party carries on, and watching the picture take shape is half the fun. Each portrait takes six to seven minutes, or 12 to 14 for a couple, finished in watercolour, Copic markers and fineliner on 300gsm paper. Guests collect their A5 illustrations by the end of the night, each in a clear protective sleeve with a custom name and date, so it doubles as a wedding favour. The style is cosy and a little whimsical. All that's needed is a trestle-sized table and a chair in a sheltered part of the venue. Travel is up to 50 km.
