Liam J Buchanan is a singer-songwriter based in Monto, QLD.

One man, a guitar, a harmonica and a stomp box. Liam J Buchanan loops parts live over a full PA, and his show can swing from intense to plain fun inside a set. The covers are classic rock, reggae, pop and country: Ring of Fire, Psycho Killer, Throw Your Arms Around Me, Eleanor Rigby, Crazy Little Thing Called Love and I'm Too Sexy among them. He has also written more than 300 songs of his own, and his music has been played on triple j, 4ZZZ and ABC Radio. More than 40 years of live work have taken him through hotels, festivals, clubs and private parties across Queensland. He needs enough room for a PA and mixer. Based in Monto, he travels up to 300 km, which covers a lot of regional pubs.
