Leeroy and the Rats is a cover band based in New South Wales.
Leeroy and the Rats have been touring Australia's east coast for more than 30 years. Their sound mixes blues, progressive rock and R&B, and the live show carries the ease of a band that has played a lot of rooms together. In 1991 band leader Lee 'Leeroy' Hammond took songwriter of the year at the Coca Cola Rock Awards, and the band earned six nominations that same year. Pubs, festivals and blues-minded crowds are where all those years on the road pay off.
