LCO sits well away from the usual function band. Melbourne session drummer and composer Liam O'Leary leads the group, and the music pulls from afrobeat, jazz, psychedelic groove and more experimental territory. With a drummer in charge, expect the rhythm to do a lot of the talking, and long grooves that give a room something to move to or simply listen into. Think of a launch, an opening night or a late drinks crowd that's happy to follow the band somewhere unexpected.
