Lauren Tatyana

Lauren Tatyana's voice can sit smooth and low for a late lounge set, then open up into a full belt when a song calls for it. She's a singer and songwriter working where soul, jazz and R&B overlap, and she plays around Melbourne often, out of St Kilda. Her own releases have done well on the charts: Hold Me reached the Beatport Top 10, and Kiss FM had Beautiful Liar at number one. A newer track, 2am, was written with Kyle McCammon, a producer from Los Angeles. For a cocktail bar, a gallery opening or a late supper with a moody, grown-up mood to the music, that soul and jazz leaning gives the room some warmth without taking it over.
