Lady Jam

Dinner with Lady Jam is laid back, and the funk arrives once people want to move. Senani sings and writes the songs, and the act runs from a duo of voice with guitar or keys up to a trio or a bigger band. The sound mixes soul, funk, disco, pop and R&B with touches of jazz, salsa and samba. You'll hear Billie Jean, Let's Groove and Play That Funky Music alongside deeper neo soul from Jill Scott and Erykah Badu, plus Senani's own songs, which have been played on radio here, in Sri Lanka, in the USA and in the UK. A duo booking is two or three 45-minute sets. The full PA comes with them, and they can run on batteries where there's no power. Home is Byron Bay, with Sydney, Brisbane and the Gold Coast also on the map. Public liability insurance is in place.
