La Galerie Mobile turn a crowd into a walk through an art gallery. The Melbourne roving company builds wearable installations that light up, and its best-known act, Walks of Art, puts characters inspired by Monet and Van Gogh among the crowd in handmade costumes under glowing LED umbrellas. It's visual art and street theatre in one, so it works best at dusk or after dark, when the lights do most of the talking. Think a cultural festival, a parade, a night market or any public event where people wander. The company has performed at White Night in Melbourne, at international arts festivals and at Glastonbury Festival.
