La Boum is a cover band based in Brisbane, QLD.
Every La Boum cover has a twist baked in, since the Brisbane trio self-arrange and self-produce their own versions rather than replaying songs straight. A click track keeps the whole band locked together, and layered samples and looping sit alongside the live instruments, with lighting and video synced in for bigger shows. They're used to changing plans on the day when a room or a running order shifts. Weekly gigs have taken them from stadiums down to intimate rooms. Public liability insurance covers the band, along with cover for equipment damage and theft, and they travel nationwide.
