Drum and bass, hard and modern, is what KRiX plays. The Sydney artist builds sets on tight, precise drums and a neuro-leaning edge, with enough emotional lift in the tracks that the floor never feels punished. He first produced more than a decade ago and has come back to it at full force, building a catalogue meant for the club as much as for headphones. He belongs at the tail end of a big night, in front of a crowd that already loves fast, heavy bass music.
