Kings of Country is a tribute band based in Brisbane, QLD.
Half The Eagles, half Creedence Clearwater Revival. Kings of Country, billed as The Kings of Country Rock, is a two-hour tribute show that gives each band its own part of the night. First comes Hotel California, Lyin' Eyes, Take It Easy, Desperado, Witchy Woman, Peaceful Easy Feeling and plenty more. Then the tempo lifts for Born on the Bayou, Green River, Proud Mary, Travelin' Band, Up Around the Bend, Have You Ever Seen the Rain and Bad Moon Rising, which is usually when the dancing starts. Costumes and instruments are replicas of the originals, and the production adds sound, lighting and video effects, so the whole thing feels like a proper concert. It's available for venue shows, concerts, corporate events, private functions and weddings, from a Brisbane base.
