King Machete

Loud, heavy and sweaty is the brief for King Machete, a stoner punk band that formed in 2024 and works out of Jungle studio in Leichhardt. The players come to it with years of hard rock gigs around Sydney, and the band has quickly found a following among the city's headbangers. Recording of their debut album began in early 2025. This is original music played at full volume, so it belongs in a band room, a rock venue or a party where people have come to hear riffs rather than talk over them.
