Kelly's Heroes is a cover band based in Brisbane, QLD.
Eight players, a saxophone and female backing singers give Kelly's Heroes a big, full sound. The Brisbane rock and blues band has guitars, keys, bass and drums at its core, played by session musicians and their friends, and they've worked the Brisbane scene together since 1999: private parties, functions and plenty of pubs. The set leans on the 60s and 70s, from Can't Buy Me Love and Live and Let Die to Whole Lotta Rosie, La Grange and Lido Shuffle, then jumps forward for Lonely Boy, Are You Gonna Be My Girl and Boys of Summer. Run to Paradise and I Shot the Sheriff are in there too, along with originals such as One Night and Call My Name. They'll travel up to 200 km.
