Kédu

Kédu's DJ and live electronic sets blend soul-leaning vocals with house grooves and some experimental production. Originally from Aotearoa and living in Naarm, she produces, writes and performs, working in R&B and sound design as well as electronic music. Many people know her as one half of the duo Kédu Carlö, whose live shows combine synthesisers, live percussion and DJ techniques. The duo has played Rhythm & Vines, Splore, Two Minds and Electric Avenue, toured New Zealand and Australia, and runs yearly Ableton production workshops. Solo, she released the dance EP What Can You Show Me? in 2025, shaped through a year of DJ and live sets. She also composes for screen and theatre, and her score for the short documentary Amali screened at a BAFTA-qualifying London festival in 2025. A club night or festival crowd that wants to dance is her home ground.
